Thank you for reporting back, I’ve been through LAX three times this last 10 days and I’ve asked the same question to three different members of staff. Two outright said the same as you were told, the third said she thought that was the case but would verify officially and come back to me with the policy. I am travelling through LAX again tomorrow for that answer. I think we all know what that answer is going to be.
