It's the tropics, and any room with the aircon cut can smell stuffy after a couple of unoccupied days.

Though having said that, I've never experienced mouldiness in any of the rooms at this hotel, suite or non-suite.

But I can see a measure of comfort in claiming you wouldn't have accepted a suite even if you had been offered one
