Lesson learned. NEVER EVER try to pull off loading BB/Serve using gebit with the Store Manager at the register. It is just playing with fire. If I was a WM store manager, I would be checking people's cards. Always try to find other folks who are not supervisors to try to load Serve via gebit.
I am admittedly relatively new to this game. However, in my limited experience loading Serve with a gebit at FD, only the shift manager has been able to perform this. On more than one occasion, the regular check out person has paged the shift manager after I requested the Serve load in order to complete the transaction. As usual YMMV, and the above may have been referring specifically to WM and not FD.
