What is the reason for the extreme dislike of anyone from the BA Forum/a little lightheartedness over on the AA Forum? It can't all be about our fishy breath?

They really do have a bee in their bonnet about us; probably I must confess not entirely unrelated to my experiment last week of re-jigging for their benefit act101's amusing post about increasing fares in FIRST to keep out the non-affluent, but even though a few got the joke, and stated as such, still people went on to criticise my proxy "arrogant" and "snobbish" tones.

Maybe they really do get people in that forum with opinions like that? Having grown up in the US, I have witnessed an increasing understanding of irony there, even in the suuthern States! Sadly this has not permeated the AA Forum it seems.

Of most amusement was the guy who in response to act101's mention of "irritating spawn" making a noise in the cabin, gave a holier than thou speech about how he worked in Special Education and that all children should be appreciated equally. Do they sell guilt on eBay now? I can imagine this guy making a fortune.

It is really worrying that people in the US continue not to be interested in the detail of the written word, nor are able to read between the lines and decipher truth from fiction. Or indeed know how to interpret humour.
