St. Tropez will be quite empty in April. There's basically no reason to go there other than to party, so no point in going when it's empty. Go between Bastille Day and Aug. 1 or in Sept for Les Voiles de St. Tropez. I would say renting a house is the best option, but lately people have been behaving so dishonestly in the rental game it's not worth the headache. If you want to party, just get it over with and stay at Byblos. If you want to be removed from town Chateau de la Messardière. Stick with the classics.
