We really missed not having water at dinner... it was by far the biggest annoyance, and truly the $15 for the bottle didn't last long enough to make it worthwhile. I typically drink 5-6 glasses every meal. So one night, instead of paying for water we opted for room service & paid the $18 delivery fee, this way we could have all the water we wanted to in our room! & it cost the same amount as a single bottle in into restaraunt. The food comes directly from Rangali Bar & is the same price as if you ate in. So if you're looking to save a bit but still have plenty of water, do the room service & it ends up being a wash!
Personally I think paying for bottled water at meal service (where there is suitable table drinking water) is just a money grab and I will refuse to buy any bottles when I am next there or anywhere in the Maldvies that does this. I better not say this over at the Waldorf Astoria thread as some over there will suggest I go visit a less expensive vacation destination. I wonder what would happen if I bring my Camelbak hydration pack to a meal service ha ha ha ha ha
