I have the same problem but with my Marriott Visa. The Renaissance chain use to be owned by Ramada. So alot of the overseas Rens never changed their credit card machines and so it still shows up as Ramada Renaissance X, I always have to call it in to get the 3 pts per $1 instead of the 1 pt per $. the ONLY times I use the card is when Im charging a Marriott prop stay or if another chain has a good enough bonus if one uses a VISA card. Then again once the 1st yr is up the card will be cancelled, not worth the ann fee. Was free the 1st yr
