Simple. We shop with the BA Exec Amex Platium Plus whatever credit card earning 1.5 BA miles a pound on normal spend, 3 BA Miles for BA tickets. I get it fee free as I'm Amex Plat and once you have spent 15,000 you get (a) WT+ upgrade if available instead of having to spend 1.5x BA miles and once a year you get a free companion ticket.
