Yes it's official. I know there has been speculation in a separate thread, but I can tell you officially that Sainsbury's has lost the BA contract.

This means that from 15th March 2002 Tescos, who have won the new contract, will be running the AIR MILES and BA MILES schemes. They will not be split, as someone mentioned before.

Rather strange that the BA 'News and Offers' mag still had a big piece on Sainsbury's and no mention of anything to do with Tescos.

I'm sure there will be time to transfer rewards vouchers to miles. Just hope you all have a Tescos nearby!!

And also, hope they post details of all extra Clubpoints offers clearly on the website. Sainsbury's didn't do a very good job of that.

P.S. I have spoken to Tescos and BA, and both confirmed the above. However neither knew anything about conversion rates. Hope they're nice and generous.

Anyone work for BA or Tescos, who could get a leak on conversion rates?????
