I think it's a mixture of int'l/transcon J travel (including occasional 1-day trips to Europe/Asia) and short/mid-con Y travel. I don't know his history, but I would assume it was similarly high in previous years. He works for a big global company that probably has a good corporate discount, not sure if/how that plays in.
