An AQS is a single flight (i.e. take off and landing). Quebec to Toronto to Thunder Bay would be 2 AQS. The catch is that you don't earn AQS on Basic fares. A flight has to generate AQM to count as a segment.

If you count the number of lines that generated AQM in your Excel file, you will find 19 AQS in 2019.
