Update:

If you are not in the LA, Dallas, Atlanta and Chicago current rollout areas for the DSL service, Free DSL is now offering a free Dial-Up account with no banner advertising through local access numbers in your area. I was upgraded this weekend and so far the service works very well. I am continuing to accrue points hopefully to redeem for FF miles one day.
