I also flew Wednesday before Turkey Day outta SJC in the afternoon and it was easy peasy like a regular weekday....I was surprise how mellow it was. Media was making it out to be the end of times at the airport all day that day and you went getting anywhere till Christmas if you were Lucky!
Not to mention the media hysteria over the "Thanksgiving Triple Storm Threat." I flew WN on Thanksgiving and Black Friday through this Weather Armageddon, sailed through TSA and arrived early both days. It was like the entire airport was a Fly-By Lane!
