Those seats, if open should have gone to a 1K as a comp. Not long ago I boarded a 777 in NRT and a couple of Head Dress types were trying to cheat an up grade. Their story is that United had made a mistake as they were to have the same seat number on all flights. Well, seesm that they had 8D on a smaller plane and felt as though they should be in 8D also. What a total bull story...Can you belive they had to be challanged with removal if they did not take their seat!
