Hi Everyone, wondering if there is a way to be reassigned to a preferred seat. Aircraft changed from 333 to 321 and I was sent to a window seat in the back of the bus. I was originally in an aisle preferred. Looking at the seat map there were only a couple of middles left with all preferred showing occupied.

I'm hoping to eupgrade so it may not matter but there are only a few J seats left and I'm 16 days out on a Flex fare. 50k privileges.

I was checking in for another flight yesterday and the check-in agent agent found an aisle for me but even further back. I've had lounge agents magically find seats by calling operations for me but no luck yesterday.

Is there an algorithm for moving passengers based on fare, status etc? I know it's not a huge deal but it's been a very long time since I've sat beyond row 15 on any flight and would prefer to avoid it.
