Booking page for the Hilton Moorea now says that all of their overwater bungalows are undergoing renovations until March of 2020. Anyone have any more info on this? Were the OWBs really that badly in need of renovation?

We'll be staying in August, but knowing how these renovation timelines sometimes get pushed back, this makes me a bit nervous (we're trying to decide between the Hilton and the Sofitel). We'd be crushed to fly all the way to Moorea to find out we won't be able to stay in an OWB.
