I have undertaken 8 Club Europe sectors over the last 4 weeks and have received 7 personal welcomes such as 'welcome back again', 'it's nice to see you again' and addressed by name throughout the flight and on two occasions had a crew member sit next to me for a few minutes for a chat. Out of the 7 welcomes I was in 1A on six flights and 1F on one flight. The only total blank that I had was on the only flight in which I was in 2A! The position of your seat on the aircraft increases or decreases the chances of a personal welcome, or at least it has done in my case.
I'd like to add that I very much appreciate the greetings and thoroughly enjoy flying BA in CE with or without a welcome.
