Lounge access is based upon upcoming flights, not previously taken flights (exception being YYZ/YVR Dom for 50K+).

Since the OP was flying EGLL-HECA on EgyptAir and AC is not the operating carrier, he should have been denied access at Heathrow. Seems like the Contract staff at Heathrow did (initially) refuse entry as per policy but after the OP (incorrectly) pushed, Heathrow staff relented.
