I have a question about the year end timing of the MQM bonus. I am close to hitting 60k for the second bonus but won't be making the purchase till Dec 26-27 to push it over 60k. My statement for Dec closes on the 23rd. I know my previous bonuses have come on the statement following hitting the spending amount. Since that would be January I wondered if it wouldn't count for this year. Does AMEX base it on the spending total on Dec 31? Thanks for any info. Just have never had it come down to the wire for dates before.
