Is there an actual published meal priority policy? I'm not surprised that there is one but I can't find anything official. The closest thing is an article in August saying there is a beta app that makes the decision for FAs.

I'm looking for an official policy because my father recently flew in business (economy upgraded via GPU) in the 3rd row and did not get his meal choice. While this probably happens to everyone at some point he strongly felt he was discriminated against. I'm trying to find some official policy to convince him otherwise, though this may be hopeless.

The policy seems to be GS / 1K then front to back. With 8 rows of Polaris business it seems 3rd row has pretty good chances.

For the record, I'm inclined to believe it was simply due to his lack of status and having an upgraded seat.
