So, no doubt at the front desk - BA F do not get FFD. I told the desk agent that BA were giving out conflicting information and she said they were wrong, but would she would notify someone so as to stop them confusing people. There was not any hint of 'given that they said you could, I'll let you' – she really didn't even let me think about that gambit.
