Little datapoint:

Haven't flown significantly on BA/OW for two or three years, former GGL for 5 yrs straight. Now Gold, which was comped to me last year despite not making 1500 TPs the previous year. I'm sitting on 350 TPs right now, my collection year ends next month. I imagine a soft landing to Silver is in my immediate future.

Anyway, had connections through PHX and LAX last week, and on arrival at both I was met by the CK team at the aircraft door and, at PHX, offered a buggy ride from high B gates to low A gates, and at LAX an Escalade transfer across the tarmac to the Eagle's Nest.

I don't know how often AA are syncing data from BA, but if my experience is any indication the answer is 'not very often'! Long may it reign!
