However it isn't banned from KUL airport, indeed in my role as purveyor of useless information, I need to inform this forum that the Polar Ice Cream parlour, in KUL Satellite building sells durian ice cream. This is to be found on the ground level directly underneath the Cathay Pacific lounge, opposite Dôme Café.

For those who have yet to taste this delicacy, durian ice cream is the entry level product which is relatively mild. So much so that some feel that its consumption is a form of cheating. Since security is at the gate in KUL, you still can't take durian ice cream on board.
