There are a few places in the airport where you can buy Durian pre packaged in vacuum bags for taking on the airplane. Some is freeze dried, some is fresh.

I have been by the counter and there is a hint of Durian, but it is not offensive. My wife nearly puked walking out of the MRT in Chinatown, but she was OK at the stand in T3 of Changi. She wouldn't let me buy it for the trip home though LOL
