IThere were 5 of us traveling from Bangkok to Phuket (round trip) and then from Bangkok to Siem Reap last October. We all had our roller bags and the check-in agents weighted every bag for all of our trips. My bag only went a little over the limit (under 0.5 kg) and the agents let me pass while my friends’ bags were all over the limit by at least 1kg, and they all had to check their bags when we checked in.

As far as the services on the ground, in the air or the food it served, Bangkok Airways beats a lot of LCC carriers. We flew economy, but we were all invited to their lounges at BKK and HKT.
