We have a package (air+hotel) booked with BA for 4 people (2 adults, 2 kids). Using Avios we managed to upgrade 2 of us (1 adult, 1 kid) on the return leg, but doing so we had to split the PNR into 2.

My question: will we still be allocated seats next to each other on the outbound leg? (I think I know the answer, but can't find a similar scenario to this).
