AA is worse. And they have multiple automated announcements (seatbelt, what's on IFE) that are louder than whatever I'm watching/listening to. Luckily, there's usually a few seconds delay between when the screen says PA in progress and when someone starts talking to allow enough time to remove headphones.

Conversely, I've also been on many flights where the only way to hear the announcements (especially from the pilots) was with headphones.
