A number of Germans of my acquaintance have that very same joke about the English. But let's face it we can have beat them at football when it counts, and the war is so last century, so all we have left is the sunbeds.
Since earlier this year, I am both German and British, so I will stay out of the footie debate and support whichever team plays better at the time
