Thanks to all for posting. Thinking of trying this out on 21st November

Arriving at 9pm on BA from EDI so tube to Heathrow central ,walk to T2 then follow the signs
Leaving about 8am on Friday on Cathay to HKG and NRT (1145 flight) so walk to T3.
Only slight negative point is the price ( GBP 137 for the night compared to 63 GBP for the HGI at Hatton Cross) but will probably try it this time. Hilton Heathrow (t4) is GBP 140 and Hilton T5 is GBP 119 ( but with addtional transport costs)
