An update from a friend senior within EK. I asked about policies regarding op-up's when traveling with an on-lap infant - her response; "I just checked with our flight controllers who do the progressive upgrades and unfortunately they don’t upgrade with infants as per their procedures"

Here's hoping the flight doesn't become too full as we'll opt for the points upgrade.
