I’ve never had CK help going to and from the LAX Eagle’s Nest, even on paid F on the JFK flight.

However this week I have had great experiences with the CK team elsewhere. On a SAN-CLT-LGA my 30 minute connection shrank to 15 minutes due to a small delay. In flight I received an SMS from CK at CLT saying they had spoken to the gate to hold my seat as long as possible, and had also held me an F seat on the next LGA flight. Fortunately I made my original connection but it was great to be proactively contacted and looked after like that.

Then flying into PHL tonight for a connection, I received another SMS advising me which lounge to use and that I would be pre-boarded at the gate. Then another SMS when the CK rep got to the gate, telling me to ask for her when I got there.

Very impressed by both of these interactions and the lovely CK staff. Being proactive with SMS is a new one for me and something that really makes a difference, especially if the agents can’t actually get out to see you in person.
