Dov, thanks for starting a new thread to discuss this subject.

IMHO, and I have voiced this before, SSM still has some important work to do. If anyone thinks otherwise, I suggest that we review the issues that I have raised.

1) Eliminate the 1/2 MQM system for discounted fares. Copy AA and simply reward the higher priced fares. Most companies require their employees to purchase the least expensive ticket. DL has driven away many road warriors because of their 1/2 MQM's.

2) Make DL change their policy on day of departure international upgrades.

3) Bring back segments as a means of qualification.

If given some more time, I am confident that there are over issues that I overlooked that should be added to this shopping list.
