Whilst that should not affect transits the distance you need to walk in the terminal as you transit will probably be longer as the new one will be much bigger. However the principal of what happens: all pax disembark, immigration check, baggage tag, go back to aircraft, fly as internal flight, disembark and get baggage and be segregated as you need to go through international baggage customs will probably be unchanged.
