But I don't think Tesco have thought fully about the consequences. With the Tesco Plus card you get 2x points and then with premium status you double up again.
So £250 = 40 80 or even 160 air miles.
with BA it's 400 800 or 1600 Miles!
We get £160 a year in vouchers which paid for 2 x Eurotunnel returns but now, if Tesco's do take BA Miles, this equals 51,000 BA Miles a year for doing nothing apart from shopping and buying petrol.
The base £60 per week spend yields a maximum of 19,200 at Tesco's against the 5000 odd for the same spend at Sainsbury.
