Verizon Wireless is probably the best service provider in the State with all their cells. Most cell phones won't have hidden taxes... just make sure you're on some sort of nationwide plan and don't trip into a non covered area, like Waimea Canyon. There was a previous thread here regarding cell phones on Kaua'i. Good luck!
