At that point, I wouldn't consider the credit worth the money. It's something that should ideally offset spending you're already doing and not something that requires you to spend money you don't have.
Anyway, the preferred dining credit setups for me (most to least) are:
- Like current travel credit but using dining-related MCCs instead of travel.
- $x/month but all dining-related MCCs apply.
- Like current travel credit but restricted to e.g. Doordash/Postmates/etc.
- $x/month but restricted to DoorDash/Postmates/etc.
BTW, what are we thinking for the total amount of the credit? Will it just be $100 to offset the supposed AF increase or will it end up being more or less?
