TG domestic tickets validity 3 months ?

I bought a OW BKK-CNX 'normal Y fare' paper ticket on June 26 for travel on Aug 26.
I have had to re-schedule and will now fly on 30 Sep.
The TG res agent asked me the validity of my ticket as it seems on purely domestic tickets there is a validity of 3 months and a refund penalty of XXX bahts.
On international tickets I know that the 1 year validity period runs from the date of issue if the ticket os open dated but it runs one year from that date of the first sector if a reservation has been made.
In my above case, can I assume that my ticket is valid 3 months from 26 Aug ie until 26 Nov or is the validity of domestic TG tickets running from issue date in this case 26 June which would male it 26 Sep and thus obliging me to pay the refund fee a buy a new ticket ?
Anybody have any experience on this ?
Thanks in advance for your input
