I've never experienced delays passing the initial security in CPH (after checking bags, the first security to get into the terminal area). But I always wait in long queues for the passport check to reach my international gate. This is where it is most annoying because one has to leave the lounge early to ensure plenty of time to get through this checkpoint to reach the gate on time. Then if you do get through in good time, sit at the gate for ages instead of relaxing longer in the lounge.
