Were you perhaps only looking at certain days of the week? As you can see from the examples above, the first person found a Wednesday availability, the next person found a Thursday availability first, and the posted chart right above shows no business class availability
on any Friday that month, and in general much worse availability some days of the week than others.
So you have to be flexible about the day of the week, not just the week of the year, in order to have a better chance at award seats, especially if not booking anywhere near 11 months out.
