Ok, let me get this straight... to achieve 1K you must actually fly; meeting both the PQD and PQM (or segments) requirements, award travel doesn't count.

So you are saying that with all flying you do to achieve and maintain 1K, the single most important benefit was the waiver of the $75 close in booking fee for award tickets?
