I made it to the meeting! Great success. The angels in orange saved the day at the last minute.
As for heading down the night before. I wish I could have but I was entertaining clients last night till pretty late. So morning flight was the only option.
Again, I have no issue with the fog, or being delayed by fog, that would be obtuse. My issue was the fact I couldn't even phone BA to discuss it.
As for my return flight, I called BA (during "open hours"...you know because an airline is a 9-5 business 😉.) And told them not to dare canceling my return portion as I have paid for it and will jolly well be using it.
