I would stay away. It used to be my favorite in Shanghai but it has gone the way of the Hongta. I wonder how long it can hold on to the Luxury collection. Maintenance is severely lacking, cost cutting all over the place (breakfast was terrible; and the happy hour lounge spread bordered on inedible), staff who don't give a damn and at rates that are higher than most comparable properties mentioned here (at least on the Puxi side).

Once a delight, this property has seen its heyday, and unless they change management or do a complete 180, I don't know what will save this property.It hurts to write this as I love the location and it is walking distance to my work in Shanghai but I will seek other properties from now on.
