It's not a tough upgrade when they're running a 737-900 on the route with 16F seats. Most people who pay for F/J on this route wl be booking lie flat seats with AA, B6, etc. AS is probably lucky if they can get anyone to buy F on this route.
Oh, I guess I was a little concerned being on a R fare, and seeing that there were only 3 unassigned seats left. On a side note, I tried to go into the lounge with a lounge pass and interestingly, the system recognised as paid F, and they didn't use my pass.

My last midweek flight on that route was half full.
I was in 1A, where were you? Looked pretty full in Y that day.
