Funny how AA and doing things behind the scene perhaps. Last week, I didn't get an upgrade email from AA or an alert from EF that C space became available. Yesterday, same thing. But today I get an email letting me know that C space is available after the fact. Guess there are no more SWU/Miles/Money upgraders on the waiting list... But RM might tempt some more people to use miles to upgrade.

My trick now is to set up seat alerts. Thus, if the seat I'm assigned to becomes available, I know I've been upgraded. That's what I tend to do for my domestic trips.
