Agreed they should have a "GS/1K" line. But that could be a moot point starting in 2021...
I will say this at the risk of being flamed, but GS and 1K should not be lumped together as they board separately. As I said earlier, I have no issue with multiple pre-board groups, as long as the proscribed order is followed, which it is most of the time. When I was at LHR last week they had separate lanes for GS, 1K, and then the BGs; this should be easy enough to implement in other airports.
