Well let me rephrase. The only “proof” I would have is that I bought on two separate orders the same item that was one of those “only 1 per person”. I bought 1 myself on my AMEX and it cost and came through at $300. My wife on her AU card ordered 1 and it came through at $319. The deal and price is now over so I wouldn’t be able to recreate the issue.
The email confirmation came through at the higher price. It wasn’t as if I had an invoice for $300 and then had a charge come through at $319. The price jumped after I had hit “checkout”. Since I don’t screen grab every single transaction I make I wouldn’t have proof that the product just didn’t increase in price between the time of the first transaction and the second transaction...even though the transactions were minutes apart.
Regardless, I received my credit from AMEX and since the case is “closed” I assume I have won and just won’t order from that vendor ever again.
