Lots of poor assumptions there. I don’t work for DL or a baggage manf, and never have, and I’ve never claimed otherwise.

I also never “spoke on the behalf of the manufacturer”. I hate to go all Captain Obvious on you, but this is an internet message board not a manufacturer press release. My comments were simply a message board PSA.

The company I work for used a consolidated repair service also (can’t recall who, it’s been almost 20 years), but they occasionally sent things to the manf, especially with luxury bags. I left this non-value added detail out, because it doesn’t alter what I already stated.
