SQ new suites are there after the first of the year. It will also give you a considerably longer trip in them. I think the connection experience would be far better than in India or mainland China, some of your other options.
The NRT-SIN route seems operated by the older A380 suites...So only option I could find is to fly via Shanghai with Swiss (this would be on a A340 vs. newer 777 to HKG) or LH via FRA on 747 and connecting to SQ833. Flight times are however not optimal and would require us to re-arrange travel plans.
I will ask the travel agent to check with Swiss/SIA if they would accept to re-book our return flight to the direct SQ346 SIN-ZRH which has the new A380 suites.
Feel free to share any other thougths / ideas on what best to do / what options we have.
