Looks like there was a Best Western point devaluation at select hotels.
Just looking at July and August at the Banff BW, it cost 70,000 points per night. (Last week it was 36,000), June remains at 36,000 per night, meanwhile September cost 56,000 points per night.
If you have any plans to book with BW, now might be a good idea, as more devaluations could be coming . You can always cancel!

Maximum amount of points used to be 36,000pts per night.
It still says that 36K is the maximum in their
FAQ :
Free nights range from 8,000 to 36,000 points !
