If you book QF PE I don't believe you will have the option to fly AS F on the same award even if Saver A space is available. AS F domestic is the same as international J so if you don't have a J award you will be in Y if there is W space available on the connecting flight.

You would, however, be eligible for a complimentary upgrade on the AS segment if you have MVPG+ Elite Status. An MVP on the. same PNR as a non-elite is not eligible for an upgrade.
